The poll has now ended and it is officially time to share with you the easy and delicious apple crisp recipe. Everyone knows when apple crisp is served it never truly looks “pretty.” I could have gotten the photo to appear “prettier” but I was just so anxious to share this amazing recipe with all of you! 1 can apple pie filling
1 yellow cake mix
1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tbs. granulated sugar
1 tbs. cinnamon
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 350° F and grease an 8 x 8inch pan with vegetable shortening; set pan aside. Mix together the cake mix, oats, sugars, cinnamon in a large bowl until combined. Pour the melted butter over top of the dry mix and combine with a fork until crumbly. Spread the apple pie filling evenly over the bottom of the prepared pan. Then evenly spread the crumb topping on the filling. Bake for 26-30 minutes or until top is golden. Cool slightly and then enjoy!
